Bethany Smith
I am the Asst. Director for Learning Technologies at the College of Education at NC State. I work with faculty and staff to integrate technology into their classrooms and their work with pre-service teachers. I am also the webmaster for the College of Education and am actively involved with developing the web presence of the college and our faculty. I have taught at the middle and high school levels, as well as in industry. My primary interests are utilizing the Read/Write Web, integrating multimedia, and utilizing learning management sytems in the classroom.

Joselyn Todd
I have been teaching 10 years at Cary Academy and curently teach 7th grade science. I am also the middle school science department chair and facilitate an innovate health science program called the Advances in Medical Technology Program.
I am currently focusing on:

Integration of Web 2.0 technologies into my general science curriculum such as content delivery via RSS feeds, podcasting, screencasting, social networking, and vodcasting.

Developing and facilitating the Cary Academy Advances in Medical Technology Program (AMTP) which focuses on robotic assisted cardiovascular surgery as well as other emerging medical technologies in other medical specialties (orthopedics).

Integration of robotics (Lego Mindstorms) into both the AMTP class and general science classes.

Assimilation of blogging and wiki use into the classroom curriculum.
